It may not be the windfall you've always dreamt of (it's not the lottery!) but I'm pretty pleased with my haul.
You see, we always get these really good coffee jars - much too good to throw away, and I've started storing all my kitchen goodies in them:

But there's a limit to how much coffee I can drink (yes, even me!) so we tend to accumulate these jars quite slowly. We've recruited a few friends to collect on our behalf, and we get a trickle that way, too.
This time, we got a flood:

(And that's not all of them - those are just the ones that fit on there.)
And an extra bonus picture because I know we're a nosy lot in Blogland - here is the inside of one of my kitchen cupboards:

Oh, good idea. I drink plenty of coffee. But mine doesn't come in those neat little jars. I'll have to look around for some.
Happy 1234567890! (Love the jars. Old Dog drinks LOTS of coffee, the house is overflowing with coffee cans. Wish his came in nice jars instead.)
My goodness! Your drawers - as it were - are so well organized! ;-)
Those don't even look like coffee jars, they look like 'real' storage jars & they look like they work perfectly, I can see why you'd want to use them :) Thanks for the peek inside your kitchen cupboard - now I am going to have a real nose around, enlarge the photo and see exactly what brands you buy & what you keep in there LOL yes, we are a nosey lot in blogland ;)
Heather - it's so lucky that my favourite coffee comes in such nice jars! (And it is nice coffee - one of my friends couldn't believe it was instant.)
Jeanne - Happy Birthday! :)
ladyfi - if only the rest of the house were as organised as the kitchen, I'd be one happy bunny!
Lynda - I think I'm as nosy as anyone! :) But do bear in mind that that's only one cupboard, we have several others and a walk-in pantry so not everything is there...
Those are great jars. My coffee comes in a sort of plastic/paper sack. Yours are super. Nice containers are always appreciated!
I love it Rachel! I have though about exposing my 'goods' cabinet, but would obsess seeing it in a photo...wish I had some of those jars, but hubby would say "don't you have enough, our storage is over flowing enough already", lol
What attractive coffee containers. Ours are just paper bags. Yours look very Martha Stewart.
I do the same, save coffee jars. Much to my annoyance the de-caf only comes in a smaller size (who knows why) so they are not that useful and we drink a lot of decaf in the evening. I've never thought of asking friends though. Great idea!
I like how food looks in glass jars. I think that's an attractive storage system.
Lucky you!!! Those jars are wonderful!
My first time here. U have such a lovely place here... & lovely pictures
Hey those jars look like actual storage ones!!
What a great idea, I wish I could find coffee in cool jars like that.
