Eyam

The stunning, rugged scenery of the Peak District:

And an adorable teashop where we enjoyed very good coffee and delectable cakes:

What more could a girl ask for on a spring afternoon? I would heartily recommend Eyam and the surrounding hillsides.

You can't beat the Peak District. It's one of my favourite places.

Is this the town that has the great story about the plague and the peoples' sacrifice? Cool photos.

Plague and sacrifice...wow I want in on that story...call me gossip girl :)

The face of the store reminds me of Ireland :( , oh how I long to come back over the pond!

It looks so nice there, and you've got great weather! Hooray for having tea outdoors.

Great composition on those landscape shots. Even at their small size you can tell how rugged and inspiring the place is.

It made me chuckle to think that it was an adorable tea shop and you had coffee!

If I could get there, I would!

Eyam is a beautiful place and well worth a visit. It is packed with history and interesting sites. I was there on Valentine's Day!

I have an article about Eyam - The Plague Village:

Hi Rachel. Yes, you must visit the places of interest I mentioned in Eyam. They are very interesting and it is a humbling experience.

I must visit the Tea Shop - I just walked past it, silly me!!
