Travel Tuesdays #19: Cornish Construction

This photo was taken in Cornwall in May 2008.

I have no idea what this sweet little building, perched high on a Cornish clifftop, was built for. If it were mine, I'd open up the windows at the front, install electricity (and wireless!), and use it as a hideaway for writing. Though I don't know if I'd get much done with views over the sea offering a constant distraction!

A neat little place to work on your computer and photos. Modern version of a studio.

I love Cornwall. And I'd give my right arm to have a writing studio that overlooked the sea. Well, maybe not, as it'd be hard to type then ;)

I ran across something like this off of a back street in Ireland, cannot remember the town, but it was the little cottage (can you call it a cottage?) of an sculptor...I wanted to stay and be his apprentice...

That little cottage is stunning - so unsual.. I agree -it would make a perfect writer's hideaway.
