We went to Bakewell with Andy's aunt and uncle last weekend, and next to the market they wanted to visit, there happened to be a dog show taking place.
It was like nothing I've seen before, so of course we had to go and have a look - and it was a great opportunity to do some photography experiments.
Of course, there were plenty of the usual problems with fast-moving subjects, ending up out of focus or in the wrong place.
In fact, a lot of the time the dogs didn't seem particularly interested in going where their owners would have liked (let alone into a good position for me).
I'd think it must be quite exasperating for the owners, but thankfully no-one seemed to be taking it terribly seriously - dogs and humans alike seemed more interested in having fun.
There are a few more photos on Flickr.
