Stockholm Miscellany
A few photos from Stockholm, that didn't really fit in with any of my other posts.
Starting with the biggest crispbread I've ever set eyes on, which caused me to get my camera out in the middle of Lidl:
This is one of the cutest gargoyles I've seen - he's trying to be scary, but he's not quite making it:
This jackdaw had been pecking around inside the bin, looking for scraps, but came and popped his head out to pose for the camera:
In the UK some supermarkets lay on free buses, but I'd be a happy girl indeed if there was an IKEA bus to my house:
And finally, just because it's pretty:

Love the jackdaw capture! You're in the moment!!!
Hmm. Given the bulk of some of the things one can buy in ikea I'd hate to get the bus back again...
But that crispbread is tremendous!
An IKEA bus! Yay! Love it!!! I can sometimes see Monsieur cringe when I get my camera out in some places...so Lidl can't have been that bad and I would have done the same!
Hope you're well, have a great week, Love from London xo
It's a pity you didn't see the kind of crispbread with a hole in the middle that people suspend from the ceiling using large poles. That's so Swedish! Great seeing your pictures; it's so interesting to see what features of the city someone not raised there notice. (And it seems as if you were fortunate with the weather!) x
an IKEA bus--yes!
Goodness. What on earth can they find to put on that crispbread? More to the point, how do they eat it? I can see myself taking the first bite and the whole lot breaking into smithereens.
An IKEA bus? I would be totally broke if it were that easy.
LOL (jackdaw and Ikea) and aaaah (the dahlias).
That dahlia shot is stunning, it would make a brilliant postcard.
Gorgeous pictures, girl :)
And who wouldn't want an Ikea bus??
