Bath&#39;s been on our list of places to visit for ages, (being Jane Austen fans and all), but we&#39;ve not yet made it. When we get back to the UK, I hope we can go and see it in person. I&#39;m just getting the feel of the various aspects of linguistics and there are some I&#39;d like to know a bit more about. Chinese is indeed a fun language and a great deal more accessible than most Westerners fear. I&#39;ve been working with it for over 14 years so far and am enjoying intensive classes here in Taiwan again now.<br /><br />My stitching blog used to be pale green with green writing and 4 different pictures at the top. The overall style was the same though, I don&#39;t have enough techy know-how to change much of the template.=)<br /><br />Embroidery isn&#39;t that hard to get started with and I really love the fact that, unlike many things, including reading and computer use, it&#39;s a sociable hobby - you can stitch and talk to others at the same time. I started out by trying a few patterns in cross stitch magazines and kits, then moved on to other styles through detailed instructions in mags, books, booklets and kits. If you really are interested, I&#39;d suggest trying out a small cross stitch kit, something like a bookmark that you can use afterwards as well and see where it takes you.<br /><br />Oh, I too am veggie, with serious vegan leanings. I do let the odd bit of egg and dairy slip in out here in Taiwan as they just don&#39;t have the vegan goodies we can get at home.
